Sharpie Oil Based Markers Questions

Water based urethane over oil based paint over water based primer?
I have a wood (and fiberglass) surface that is about to be coated with a layer of water based primer. Can i put oil based paint over that? (it must be oil based in order to stand up to the abuse of sharpie markers).
Then, can i cover the sharpie/oil based with some spar urethane I have sitting around? The sharpie needs the extra layer(s) of protection.
The surface should be light sanded (dont go nuts here) the de-glaze the surface a bit. The goal is to assist the primer in bonding to the oil based surface, the more you sand it the better it will bond. Be sure the primer is mixed real well and let it cure 24 hours before you paint it.
Yes to the urethane but I would dilute it a bit with mineral spirits and do 2 thin coats instead of one heavier coat.
