Crayola Invisible Questions

Why do religious zealots feel the need to force their opinions on others?
Why do religious zealots (of any faith) feel the need to force their opinions (or beliefs, or delusions) on others? If your god is a crayola crayon, or an invisible man in the sky, or an alien, or a cheeseburger, or the moon, and that brings you peace, then I`m happy for you, or them. I dont care what they think. It doesn`t hurt me any….. until they try to brainwash me into fearing (or loving, or worshiping, or bowing down to) the cheeseburger, (or whatever).
Because zealots are insecure and seem convinced the world is going to implode if it doesn’t run according to their view, so they have to try to control everything.
